Welcome to GentleParent (“the App”), developed by Inka-Tech Solutions. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.
GentleParent features AI-powered companion personas, including Bra K and Lesedi. These are fully artificial intelligence-generated characters, not real people. All responses generated by these companions are produced by AI language models. No human is on the other side of your conversation. By using the App, you acknowledge that you are interacting with AI-generated content.
GentleParent uses Firebase Authentication (by Google) to sign you in anonymously. No name, email address, or personal identification is required to use the App. An anonymous user ID is generated automatically to enable the App to function.
When you send a message in the App, that message is transmitted to our secure cloud service (Firebase Cloud Functions) and processed by a third-party AI provider to generate a response. Messages are not permanently stored on our servers. Session data is automatically cleared when you close the App or start a new session.
Conversation history is saved locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you initiate a conversation. You can delete this data at any time using the in-app “Clear Chat” button.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to track you across other apps or websites.

Your messages are transmitted to these services solely to generate responses. We do not authorise these providers to use your data for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
GentleParent is designed exclusively for parents and caregivers aged 18 and over. The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at inkateck.solutions@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete that information.
